Double A Jazz features a swinging combination of guitarists, bassists, saxophonists, keyboardists, pianists, drummers, and vocalists (both male and female).
Double A Jazz can perform as a duo, trio, quartet or quintet, filling any room with their sweet jazz sounds. Double A Jazz specializes in providing top notch Live Jazz for your corporate event or weddings.
Double A Jazz is also able to bring Live Jazz to your bar, lounge or restaurant.

Double A Jazz features over 50 musicians, thus we are able to handle multiple bookings at the same time.

When we're not hosting a private event, we are performing at various locations around Southern Ontario! Come join us for Brunch on Sundays at DeSotos or open mic on Thursday nights at DeSotos.

Anthony Abbatangeli : Guitar
Anthony formed Double A Jazz in 2002. Anthony has been playing guitar in a variety of ensembles for the past 35 years ranging from Folk to Rock and Blues to Jazz. He has been performing in bars, lounges, restaurants, as well as weddings and boat cruises around Toronto. Anthony received a Music Degree from York University and is a certified teacher with the Toronto District School Board. His guitar playing emits influences such as Wes Montgomery, Kenny Burrell, Pat Metheny, and Jim Hall.
Anthony plays guitars made by Epiphone, D'Angelico, Ibanez, Fender, G & L and Haywire Custom Guitars. Anthony uses amplifiers made by JazzKat, Polytone and Fender.

Double A Jazz performs for an average of 50 weddings per year. Each Wedding is unique and special. Have Double A Jazz help make your special day unique.
Standard Jazz is most commonly used during Cocktail Receptions. Double A Jazz can provide a solo performer or a duo, trio or quartet to set the ambiance for you party.
Anthony has also constructed a special "Jazz Ceremony" repertoire that can make your special day stand out.

Anthony with Double A Jazz was the perfect choice for our small(ish) restaurant wedding. He was totally accommodating and patient with us as this was the first time we were hiring professional musicians. We even asked him to cue up a song at a very specific point in the ceremony and he nailed it! They created the perfect atmosphere and many of the guests said what a lovely addition the band was to our special day. On top of the fact that they are very skilled musicians, Anthony made sure all of our A/V needs were met. They went above and beyond!
